How much do removals cost in London?
Local house moves typically run £150–£900 depending on property size, crew, access and parking; man & van starts from £40/hour (2-hour minimum). You get a fixed, all-in price up front with no hidden fees — congestion charge and ULEZ are included. Use our 60-second calculator for an instant estimate.
Do your prices include the Congestion Charge and ULEZ?
Yes — our fleet is ULEZ-compliant and the Congestion Charge is built into your fixed quote. There are no surprise add-ons on move day.

Insurance & standards
Are you fully insured?
Yes. Every job is covered by Goods in Transit and Public Liability insurance. We’re also ISO and Trading Standards Approved Code accredited and SafeContractor approved, so your move is handled to recognised standards.
Will the same crew handle my whole move?
Yes. We use one vetted, in-house crew per job and never resell your move to third parties, so the people who quote you are the people who move you.
Can you move heavy or oversized items?
Yes — safes, gym equipment, large appliances and other oversized items. Our crew uses the correct lifting equipment and handles stairs and tight access, fully insured. (Please note we don’t offer piano removals.)
Areas & booking
Do you cover my area of London?
We’re based in King’s Cross (WC1X) and cover North & Central London — Islington, Camden, Hackney, Shoreditch, Clerkenwell and surrounding boroughs — plus national and long-distance moves across the UK and into the Home Counties.
Can you do my move at short notice or same day?
Often yes. We hold availability for same-day and last-minute moves and keep our fixed pricing even at short notice. Call 020 3957 9335 to check the next available slot.
How far in advance should I book?
For weekends and month-end (the busiest slots) book 1–2 weeks ahead where you can, but we regularly handle same-week and same-day moves — get in touch and we’ll find a slot.
Packing, storage & clearance
Do you offer packing and materials?
Yes — full or part packing, specialist fragile and antique wrapping, and supply of boxes and materials. We can pack everything for you, label it room by room, and unpack at the other end.
Do you provide storage?
Yes. We arrange secure storage as part of your move — short or long term — ideal for chain delays, downsizing or between moves. We manage collection and redelivery, so one team handles both the move and the storage.
What does house clearance include, and how is waste disposed of?
We clear single rooms to whole properties — probate, end-of-tenancy, landlord and decluttering. As a registered waste carrier we dispose of everything responsibly, recycling and donating where possible, with documentation provided.
