How Far in Advance Should You Book Removals?

How far in advance should you book removals? Booking early secures your date and the best price — but short-notice moves are often possible too. Here is the guidance.

Recommended lead times

Aim to book two to four weeks ahead for most moves. In the busy summer months and on Fridays, four to six weeks is safer as the best crews book up quickly.

Short-notice and completion-day moves

We regularly take on last-minute and completion-day moves when we have crew availability. If your date has just been confirmed, get in touch and we will do our best to fit you in.

Booking before exchange

You can get a quote and pencil in a date before exchange, then confirm once your completion date is set. Just keep us posted as things firm up.

Why early booking pays

Booking early means more date choice, a better price and time to arrange packing, storage or a parking suspension if you need one.
